According to the online news service The Guardian, 89% of Republicans and 90% of Democrats agree that GMOs, genetically modified food, need to be clearly labeled, as they already are in 40 nations; in Brazil, in Europe and even in China! Were you aware that 5 % of foods in Europe are genetically modified in contrast to 70% of foods in the USA? California’s upcoming measure, “The Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Act,” if passed in November, may hopefully set a precedent for other states to follow.
